The BEST VENDING MACHINE EVER INVENTED!!!!

Pizza vending machineNow, where could I put this in my apartment…. hmmm…. next to my 65″ widescreen HDTV would probably be a little ostentatious. Hmmm. The kitchen is toooo obvious, and where would I keep my champagne fountain? I could put it in my bedroom, buy a wood-pizza “spatula” and never have to leave my bed. Nah. Don’t wanna end up like this. <sigh>

I guess I’ll just have to pass. <sniff>

MobiTV | Live Television. Anywhere. Anytime.

MobiTV

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!! This is frelling SWEET!!!!!

They just rolled out their beta today and I’m lucky enough to be a part. I can now watch LIVE TELEVISION on my Treo. Granted it’s a somewhat small screen and the framerate isn’t GREAT but it’s good enough for me.

No local content but quite a few good channels. I love my Treo all over again.

Peter Mulvey

YEAH!!!! He’s coming back to Cali. Three shows I can go see. And a fourth I can wrangle over.

Dunno if anyone noticed (since my site isn’t all that popular. fine by me. those that care, I say) but I’ve added an MP3 on the right side of the homepage. I’ll be putting songs I love and enjoy over there. I’m gonna update it so that you can go back and hear past songs (Macromedia Flash will be required) soon, but for now, enjoy Peter singing a Townes Van Zandt song. I discovered this song by listening to Nancy Griffith. She’s got a great story about this song. I’ll see if I can find it amongst my many recordings of her shows.

And please, do yourself a favor, go see him. He’s a local Milwaukee artist and is amazing, funny, friendly, etc.

songs that could have my name in the title, but for whatever reason do not

Inspired by a posting I discovered over here

And why must it always be the laundry mat. I have in-unit laundry now. <ttthhhpppptttt> Why can’t someone write a song about a doormat, or a matte painting, or a matte finish. 🙂

“ICE” could save your life

This is really good to know.

Paramedics will turn to a victim’s cell phone for clues to that person’s
identity. You can make their job much easier with a simple idea that they
are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE.

ICE stands for In Case of Emergency.

If you add an entry in the contacts list in your cell phone under ICE, with
the name and phone no. of the person that the emergency services should call
on your behalf, you can save them a lot of time and have your loved ones
contacted quickly. It only takes a few moments of your time to do.

Paramedics know what ICE means and they look for it immediately. ICE your
cell phone NOW!

Please pass this one along.
