Finally caved and got a new cable box. DVR and finally HDTV!!!!! With the Super Bowl coming up, and a girlfriend, and soon a new dining room table, I am gonna host a Super Bowl party. I just COULDN’T do that with just any old regular digital cable. Not when you have a 65″ Widescreen HDTV Monitor (that’s an HDTV tv without an HDTV tuner built in).
NOW I’m ready. 65″, check. Widescreen, check. Surround sound, check. HDTV!!!!! Check.

On again, off again, genius (Basselope? You betcha.) cartoonist Berke Breathed (Breee-thed, Breath-ed, <shrug>) has made his current weekly cartoon, Opus, available online. I don’t know how long this has been available but I just found it yesterday and I’m jumping for joy. No more scrounging for someone who will lend me their paper on the weekend, or Monday even.

Just saw the MFer that took my license plate. ‘MST3000’ Drove right by him and couldn’t stop so I couldn’t take a picture and I never saw him pass me when I slowed down in the right lane.

Though I have already found it’s replacement. Haven’t ordered it yet though so I don’t wanna jinx it. It’s kinda obscure so I’m not afraid someone will take it but still.
This would be nice to get this xmas as well.
