Is it me or doesn’t this sound like they’re starting to talk about “transparent aluminum“?

WOOT!! Finally cracked the top 10000
I posted a while back about almost entering the top 10000 users of Seti@Home. I FINALLY DID IT!! See?

Another Public Service Announcement. Think before you buy the new iPod Nano.
… their precision (unless you want to start getting into “imaginary” numbers, and I DON’T!) and for this post, knowing how you rate with others.
I’m a Seti@Home devotee and I’m geeking out on being about to push into the 4-digit long ranking among the ENTIRE collection of users. I’m already, as of this post, #89 on the list for my “registration class”. about a year ago, I was over #200. I LOVE having fast computers available to me. As soon as I get my new computer at home and one at work, boy am I gonna chug through the workunits.
We’re causing a Ruckus now!!
Now, where could I put this in my apartment…. hmmm…. next to my 65″ widescreen HDTV would probably be a little ostentatious. Hmmm. The kitchen is toooo obvious, and where would I keep my champagne fountain? I could put it in my bedroom, buy a wood-pizza “spatula” and never have to leave my bed. Nah. Don’t wanna end up like this. <sigh>
I guess I’ll just have to pass. <sniff>
Want one!!
HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!! This is frelling SWEET!!!!!
They just rolled out their beta today and I’m lucky enough to be a part. I can now watch LIVE TELEVISION on my Treo. Granted it’s a somewhat small screen and the framerate isn’t GREAT but it’s good enough for me.
No local content but quite a few good channels. I love my Treo all over again.
“ICE” could save your life
This is really good to know.
Paramedics will turn to a victim’s cell phone for clues to that person’s
identity. You can make their job much easier with a simple idea that they
are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE.
ICE stands for In Case of Emergency.
If you add an entry in the contacts list in your cell phone under ICE, with
the name and phone no. of the person that the emergency services should call
on your behalf, you can save them a lot of time and have your loved ones
contacted quickly. It only takes a few moments of your time to do.
Paramedics know what ICE means and they look for it immediately. ICE your
cell phone NOW!
Please pass this one along.
