Help Ash use his BOOMSTICK!!
There’s a tournament running at AMC. It’s a “Monster Hunter” tournament and we’re down to the final four. Buffy the Vampire Slayer versus Ripley (from Alien) and Ash (from the Evil Dead movies) versus Hellboy.
Let’s get Ash into the final round people!! Please click either image and vote for Ash. He’s the second vote you’ll encounter. I don’t really care between Buffy and Ripley but it’d be nice to have Ripley do better against Buffy.

To you who voted for Prop 8
I know you probably won’t watch this because after you “won” you would have stuck your head in the sand with fingers in your ears not wanting to see or listen to a dissenting opinion but it has to be said.
No picture from me but go visit my wife’s blog and she can tell you how we both feel. Keith Olberman (in the video above) says it incredibly well too. If you voted for Prop 8, or WOULD HAVE voted for Prop 8, you should be ASHAMED of yourself!

Peter Mulvey – Look Ma, No Gasoline

Here are some YouTube examples of why Peter is just an amazing singer/songwriter. I mention Peter every now and then and just realized how easy it is to show how good he is.
If you are in Wisconsin you owe it to yourself to experience him live. He’s currently doing a “bicycle tour” around southern Wisconsin. Yup. Biking to all venues. It’s not because his car has over 400,000 miles on it (if he’s even driving that beast anymore. heh). It’s called the “Look Ma, No Gasoline” tour. Man! Sometimes I wish I still lived in Wisconsin. Once or so a year in California is DEFINITELY not enough. I hope he announces some California dates soon.
