OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OMG!!!!! I was literally curled up in a ball watching the end of the Giants game through my knees. I’m sooooo glad we don’t have to worry about Dallas anymore.

And now we’re one game away from gong back to the Super Bowl. If we win, I’ve said that I’m hosting another Super Bowl party at our apartment. However, it’s gonna be a weird day because Cathy is running a half-marathon in the morning. So I won’t be getting much party support that day. I guess we’ll have to have everything ready the day before. It’s a good thing that the game is later in the day because I’m not going to not be in SF to support my wife while she kills herself runs her cute little legs off.

I do believe I’ve created a monster. Early in our relationship Cathy was so enamored with my own DSLR, the awesome Nikon D70, that she bought her own Nikon D50.

Since then, she’s become QUITE the excellent photographer. Surpassing even ME more often than I like to admit. heh

And NOW she’s been published again.

Well done my love. So what if it’s a blog.  It’s a WIDELY read blog.

She’s even submitted an entry to the JPG Magazine contest for “Split Second”. Go vote for her. She’ll think warm thoughts about you if you do.

Cathy and I are perusing the dollar store for cheap… umm… ‘expensively challenged’ things to use for our upcoming nuptials and in the soda aisle I saw this soda. Totally took me back to summers with the family. Going to Family Camp and stocking up on Ting soda.

Got to enjoy my nephews in Disneyworld this past week. This is what I think the cutest thing Caden does. He’s sooooo cute and so easy to make smile and giggle. Can’t wait to see him at Xmas.

ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!! Cathy and I are in Berkeley to see Peter Mulvey at the Freight and Salvage tonight. While driving around looking for somewhere to eat dinner (and the BART station for pictures) we stumbled across ‘Fellini’ on the corner of Acton and University. An unassuming place on the outside but interesting on the inside.

Classic film posters, strong colors. Pretty cool place. But the icing on the cake was when we were choosing our drinks. With the antibiotics I’m currently on I skipped the wine this time and started right with the sodas. Ohmygodohmygodohmygod… They serve SPRECHER root beer!!!!! The first restaurant I’ve found outside of Wisconsin that does. [thud] picking up my jaw I quickly ordered. The waiter was equally enthusiastic. Cathy CAN drink so she chose the ‘Arrogant Bastard Ale’. quite good. Dinner consisted of mushroom risotto with asparagus in a cream sauce for me. Cath had the ‘gypsy salad’.

When in Berkeley… Eat here! You won’t be sorry. Cath and I recommend the roasted asparagus appetizer. Delicious!

I’m a DOUBLE Uncle today!!! Caden Michael is now amongst those of us who can see the Sun. (Yeah, I’m REALLY mushy. <grin>) Here are a few pictures…

• 10lbs 3oz - and he was a week early! my sister knows how to cook ‘em. Noah was big too. Not THIS big though.
• 22 inches
